The girl pictured is a friend of mine, who happens to be an Australian artist (Cat Vas)and needed some promo shots for a single she was releasing. The single entitled 'Ladies Marry Pirates' heavily influenced the concept of her wading in the water, waiting for her lover to come for her. The anticipation and longing for his embrace. The sea is his home, therefore it is now hers also.
Side note: my camera almost took an unwanted dip in the ocean just after this shot was taken. Ha!
