I like things to look beautiful and magical, but have
something slightly sinister about it, and I think that sums up 'rose tinted'
quite well. I took the basic idea of someone seeing the world through rose
tinted glasses, or seeing the world as something better than it is, and took it
to a more literal level. I think seeing the world as 'too' anything can be
dangerous, but if you're going to, seeing a better place would be the way to
go. I'm still experimenting with the whole series, playing with glitter and
trying to add extra magic to them. I like to think that the images have
something quiet and delicate about them.
